Just like any other machine, your sewing machine needs to be regularly cleaned so that it performs in the way it should. Although sewing machines are different, they basically have the same parts that need to be cleaned. Be sure to unplug your sewing machine first. Remove the needle and the bobbin from the machine.
Take a soft, lint-free cloth and wipe down the outside of the sewing machine. Use a small brush or some compressed air to get the lint and dust out of the thread guides and other areas where you can’t reach.
Move the slide plate and then remove the throat plate so that the bobbin case is exposed. Use the small lint brush to remove the lint from the bobbin case and then remove the bobbin case to clean behind it as well.
Place the bobbin case back into the machine and then put the plates back together as well. If your owner manual recommends oiling specific parts, do so at this time, but be sure to not get oil in any other parts as it may end up on your fabric then.
If you do decide to oil your machine, be sure to run a test sew so you potentially don’t ruin your good fabric.

I love table throws. They make any table look good. I feel great when I can have it for all the parties and use it on any ugly table that I want to. I love the way it is so versatile and it just makes anything look so elegant! I feel like I am the kind of person who can really make things happen for me. I know that there are so many parties that I want to throw for my family, and these come in really handy all the time. I have used them over and over, and they’re still great looking! I think that, when I throw a party, I just have to invest in it all a little. It makes no sense for me to really throw an ugly party. I’ve seen that happen and it just makes me sick! I know that some people just don’t care, but for people like me who do care about the way things look, you better cover up that ugly table.
